For those of you that have been tracking this, This Saturday 14 Jun 2025 (June 15 is the rain day), is the Fredericton Fly-In (https://www.frederictonflyingclub.com/fly-in). Cadets from 333 & 334 have been invited to participate and enjoy a fun day at the airport.

The Cadets have been offered free tours at 11:00am, see below, and there is the Flight Simulator (parents will have to cover the cost), however, I am waiting for clarity on the Famil Flights they are offering. Cadets cannot fly in uninsured planes, and this has to be organized through the Air Ops. I am trying a work around but haven’t heard back yet. I will update once I get the response.

Please note that the cadets are not to arrive until 10am, there will be a Staff member or Senior Cadet in the parking lot to do the attendance, please report to them when you arrive.. I ask that cadets arrive NO EARLIER THAN 9:45am but before 10am.

Cadets are to be in their FTUs to represent the Unit and the Air Cadets, please act appropriately. Parents are asked to accompany their child to assist with supervision and there is going to hundreds of people in attendance. If the cadet hasn’t been issued FTUs, then civilian attire. Please dress for the weather.

There is no training this Friday.

Pour ceux d'entre vous qui ont suivi cela, ce samedi 14 juin 2025 (le 15 juin est le jour de la pluie), c'est le Fredericton Fly-In (https://www.frederictonflyingclub.com/fly-in). Les cadets des 333 et 334 ont été invités à participer et à profiter d'une journée amusante à l'aéroport.

Les cadets se sont vu offrir des visites gratuites à 11h00, voir ci-dessous, et il y a le simulateur de vol (les parents devront couvrir les coûts), cependant, j'attends des éclaircissements sur les vols Famil qu'ils offrent. Les cadets ne peuvent pas voler dans des avions non assurés, et cela doit être organisé par l'intermédiaire des opérations aériennes. J'essaie une solution de contournement, mais je n'ai pas encore eu de réponse. Je mettrai à jour une fois que j'aurai la réponse.

Veuillez noter que les cadets ne doivent pas arriver avant 10h, il y aura un membre du personnel ou un cadet senior dans le stationnement pour faire la présence, veuillez leur faire un rapport à votre arrivée. Je demande aux cadets d'arriver au plus tôt à 9 h 45 , mais avant 10 h.

Les cadets doivent faire partie de leur FTU pour représenter l'unité et les cadets de l'Air, veuillez agir de manière appropriée. Les parents sont invités à accompagner leur enfant pour l'aider à la supervision et il y aura des centaines de personnes présentes. Si le cadet n'a pas reçu de FTU, alors une tenue civile. Veuillez vous habiller en fonction de la météo.

Il n'y a pas d'entraînement ce vendredi.
